How do you recover?

DO YOU MAXIMIZE YOUR TRAINING?

Are you going into each workout at full capacity? Do you feel sluggish and easily fatigued? If you are having trouble regaining strength and stamina during training, then you may need to take a look at your recovery method. As soon as your training regiment for the day is complete, the recovery process should begin.

FOUR KEY RECOVERY FACTORS:

FUEL

Starts with ingesting healthy food options, supplementing when necessary, and staying hydrated.

MOVE

Incorporate mobility work/ yoga to help keep your muscles and ligaments durable and flexible.

PREPARE

Perform myofascial release techniques. Modalities such as foam rolling works to break up tight muscles.

ACTIVATE

Prior to your workout, include cardio intensive exercises to flush the muscles. This will decrease soreness and help the body recover at a faster rate and perform optimally.
